# Nostalgia vs VPNBOOST

The clearest difference is rating: VPNBOOST at 1.7 against Nostalgia's 1.0. VPNBOOST also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nostalgia sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 3 months and VPNBOOST sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPNBOOST holds the better App Store score, 1.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPNBOOST has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nostalgia ships an update monthly, VPNBOOST every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
