# Stencil vs Learn How to Draw Tutorials

The clearest difference is ads: Stencil at none against Learn How to Draw Tutorials's shown. Stencil also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Learn How to Draw Tutorials's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 125). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stencil sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Learn How to Draw Tutorials sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stencil holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn How to Draw Tutorials has 1.3K ratings behind it against 125, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Stencil's written reviews are positive against 49% of Learn How to Draw Tutorials's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
