# Freecense vs Allowana

The clearest difference is update cadence: Allowana at every 8 days against Freecense's every 55 months. Freecense's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Freecense ships an update every 55 months, Allowana every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
