# Sonato vs WhereT?

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sonato at 281 against WhereT?'s 17. WhereT?'s advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Sonato against 5.0 for WhereT?. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sonato has 281 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sonato ships an update every 10 days, WhereT? fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
