# Douj vs VANEX

The clearest difference is ads: VANEX at none against Douj's shown. VANEX also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 43%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Douj's advantage is ratings volume (595 vs 65). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Douj against 4.2 for VANEX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Douj has 595 ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of Douj's written reviews are positive against 62% of VANEX's.

Douj ships an update every 3 weeks, VANEX weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
