# Shift 2 vs Left Turn Legend

The clearest difference is rating: Shift 2 at 4.8 against Left Turn Legend's 4.5. Shift 2 also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Left Turn Legend's advantage is ratings volume (68 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift 2 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Left Turn Legend sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shift 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Left Turn Legend has 68 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shift 2 ships an update fortnightly, Left Turn Legend monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
