# Tori Note vs Bird Kind

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bird Kind at 2.5K against Tori Note's 138. Bird Kind also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Tori Note's advantage is chart position (#109 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tori Note sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Bird Kind sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bird Kind holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bird Kind has 2.5K ratings behind it against 138, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Tori Note's written reviews are positive against 71% of Bird Kind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tori Note ships an update monthly, Bird Kind fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
