# Puerto Azul vs Cittapp

The clearest difference is rating: Puerto Azul at 5.0 against Cittapp's 2.8. Puerto Azul also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Cittapp's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Puerto Azul holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cittapp has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Puerto Azul ships an update every 21 months, Cittapp fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
