# Big Clock vs Flash Beacon

The clearest difference is ads: Flash Beacon at none against Big Clock's shown. Flash Beacon also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Big Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Flash Beacon sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
