# Truffle vs LH Eats

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LH Eats at 100% against Truffle's 65%. LH Eats also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). Truffle's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Truffle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. LH Eats asks for nothing beyond the download.

Truffle holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truffle has 336 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Truffle's written reviews are positive against 100% of LH Eats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Truffle ships an update every 9 days, LH Eats every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
