# DigitsX vs Aschat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Aschat at 100% against DigitsX's 64%. Aschat also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). DigitsX's advantage is ratings volume (941 vs 75). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DigitsX sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Aschat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aschat holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DigitsX has 941 ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of DigitsX's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aschat's.

DigitsX ships an update monthly, Aschat every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
