# Thunderbird Hills vs Press Tracker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Thunderbird Hills at none against Press Tracker's 3. Thunderbird Hills also leads on ratings volume (137 vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Press Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Press Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Thunderbird Hills asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Thunderbird Hills against 5.0 for Press Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thunderbird Hills has 137 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Thunderbird Hills ships an update every 3 months, Press Tracker every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
