# Shape Software vs Viato Phone

The clearest difference is rating: Viato Phone at 5.0 against Shape Software's 4.2. Viato Phone also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Shape Software's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
