# Ростелеком Абонент vs HitVPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HitVPN at 44% against Ростелеком Абонент's 0%. HitVPN also leads on ratings volume (543 vs 12) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Ростелеком Абонент's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ростелеком Абонент holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HitVPN has 543 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Ростелеком Абонент's written reviews are positive against 44% of HitVPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
