# Montana Code Annotated vs Wicca

The clearest difference is rating: Wicca at 4.8 against Montana Code Annotated's 3.5. Wicca also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (973 vs 2). Montana Code Annotated's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Montana Code Annotated sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Wicca sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wicca holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wicca has 973 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Montana Code Annotated's written reviews are positive against 70% of Wicca's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Montana Code Annotated ships an update every 15 months, Wicca fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
