# Forsa Barter vs Transit

The clearest difference is monetization model: Transit at free against Forsa Barter's free with in-app purchases. Transit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). Forsa Barter's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Transit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forsa Barter has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Forsa Barter ships an update every 2 weeks, Transit monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
