# Linknet vs LockMe

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Linknet at none against LockMe's 8. Linknet also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.2). LockMe's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 25 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockMe sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Linknet asks for nothing beyond the download.

LockMe holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LockMe has 229 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Linknet ships an update every 25 months, LockMe every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
