# Riverside vs DoubleVoix

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Riverside at 20K against DoubleVoix's 1. Riverside also leads on chart position (#183 vs unranked). DoubleVoix's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Riverside sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and DoubleVoix sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DoubleVoix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Riverside has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Riverside ships an update every 4 days, DoubleVoix every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
