# OVME vs Vive Center

The clearest difference is update cadence: OVME at every 2 months against Vive Center's every 25 months. OVME also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vive Center holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OVME has 34 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OVME ships an update every 2 months, Vive Center every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
