# StudyPod vs UNB Academy

The clearest difference is ads: UNB Academy at none against StudyPod's shown. StudyPod's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyPod sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and UNB Academy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudyPod ships an update fortnightly, UNB Academy every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
