# Autel Link vs Key Genius

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Key Genius at none against Autel Link's 10. Key Genius also leads on review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and ratings volume (63 vs 3). Autel Link's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Autel Link sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Key Genius asks for nothing beyond the download.

Autel Link holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Key Genius has 63 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Autel Link's written reviews are positive against 33% of Key Genius's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Autel Link ships an update every 3 weeks, Key Genius every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
