# Monitor+ vs Ai258

The clearest difference is rating: Ai258 at 4.0 against Monitor+'s 3.2. Ai258 also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Monitor+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (45% vs 18%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Monitor+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ai258 sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ai258 holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monitor+ has 281 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Monitor+'s written reviews are positive against 18% of Ai258's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Monitor+ ships an update monthly, Ai258 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
