# Monitor+ vs Alpha GPS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Alpha GPS at 100% against Monitor+'s 45%. Alpha GPS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.2) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Monitor+'s advantage is ratings volume (281 vs 6) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Monitor+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Alpha GPS sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alpha GPS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monitor+ has 281 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
