# Monitor+ vs Printax

The clearest difference is rating: Printax at 5.0 against Monitor+'s 3.2. Printax also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Monitor+'s advantage is ratings volume (280 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Monitor+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Printax sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Printax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monitor+ has 280 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Monitor+ ships an update monthly, Printax every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
