# LYNK smart control vs EHEIM Digital Connect

LYNK smart control and EHEIM Digital Connect both sit at 1.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 46% of LYNK smart control's written reviews are positive against 15% of EHEIM Digital Connect's. EHEIM Digital Connect's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EHEIM Digital Connect holds the better App Store score, 1.7 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EHEIM Digital Connect has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of LYNK smart control's written reviews are positive against 15% of EHEIM Digital Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LYNK smart control ships an update every 6 weeks, EHEIM Digital Connect every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
