# ScreenHitsTV vs Xtream IPTV

The clearest difference is rating: Xtream IPTV at 4.5 against ScreenHitsTV's 3.0. Xtream IPTV also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). ScreenHitsTV's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScreenHitsTV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Xtream IPTV sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Xtream IPTV holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xtream IPTV has 201 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
