# Insta Templates vs Frames

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Insta Templates at 100% against Frames's 29%. Insta Templates also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Frames's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Insta Templates sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Frames sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
