# Relanote vs NoteKit

The clearest difference is rating: NoteKit at 5.0 against Relanote's 4.2. NoteKit also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 33 months). Relanote's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Relanote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. NoteKit asks for nothing beyond the download.

NoteKit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Relanote has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Relanote ships an update every 33 months, NoteKit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
