# Balador vs Nard POS

The clearest difference is rating: Nard POS at 5.0 against Balador's 3.5. Balador's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (25 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nard POS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Balador has 25 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Balador ships an update every 2 weeks, Nard POS every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
