# Type vs Type Hype

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Type at none against Type Hype's 1. Type also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Type Hype sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Type asks for nothing beyond the download.
