# Ringl vs Sighted UFO

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sighted UFO at free against Ringl's free with in-app purchases. Ringl's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ringl sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Sighted UFO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ringl ships an update every 3 weeks, Sighted UFO every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
