# Day Tracker vs Timesheet tasks

The clearest difference is rating: Day Tracker at 5.0 against Timesheet tasks's 4.7. Day Tracker also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.5). Timesheet tasks's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Timesheet tasks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Day Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timesheet tasks has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Day Tracker ships an update every 3 months, Timesheet tasks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
