# BuddyColo vs Lightbox draw

BuddyColo and Lightbox draw are too close to call on the numbers: across 10 compared parameters — price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. BuddyColo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Lightbox draw sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BuddyColo holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 91 and 255 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of BuddyColo's written reviews are positive against 53% of Lightbox draw's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BuddyColo ships an update every 2 weeks, Lightbox draw weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
