# Fighter Pilot vs Command The Stack

The clearest difference is rating: Fighter Pilot at 4.5 against Command The Stack's 3.9. Fighter Pilot also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 68) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Command The Stack's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fighter Pilot sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Command The Stack asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fighter Pilot holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fighter Pilot has 3K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Fighter Pilot's written reviews are positive against 50% of Command The Stack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fighter Pilot ships an update every 2 months, Command The Stack every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
