# HeRo Study Space vs Hemis

The clearest difference is rating: Hemis at 4.1 against HeRo Study Space's 2.0. Hemis also leads on ratings volume (125 vs 4). HeRo Study Space's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 13%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hemis holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hemis has 125 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of HeRo Study Space's written reviews are positive against 13% of Hemis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HeRo Study Space ships an update every 4 weeks, Hemis every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
