# W FPV vs PL GPS

The clearest difference is rating: W FPV at 3.0 against PL GPS's 2.3. W FPV also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 4) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). PL GPS's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

W FPV holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: W FPV has 26 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

W FPV ships an update monthly, PL GPS every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
