# ABC Jump vs ABCD Spelling

The clearest difference is rating: ABC Jump at 4.2 against ABCD Spelling's 3.3. ABC Jump also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 6). ABCD Spelling's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC Jump sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and ABCD Spelling sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ABC Jump holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Jump has 2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of ABC Jump's written reviews are positive against 100% of ABCD Spelling's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABC Jump ships an update every 9 months, ABCD Spelling monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
