# BlockIn vs Nova Stack

The clearest difference is ads: BlockIn at none against Nova Stack's shown. BlockIn also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockIn sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Nova Stack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BlockIn ships an update every 2 days, Nova Stack weekly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
