# Thiro vs PomoFocus · Daily Planner

The clearest difference is update cadence: PomoFocus · Daily Planner at every 3 days against Thiro's every 5 weeks. PomoFocus · Daily Planner also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Thiro's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 5) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thiro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PomoFocus · Daily Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Thiro against 4.8 for PomoFocus · Daily Planner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thiro has 49 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Thiro's written reviews are positive against 100% of PomoFocus · Daily Planner's.

Thiro ships an update every 5 weeks, PomoFocus · Daily Planner every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
