# New Translator vs Smart Convert

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: New Translator at none against Smart Convert's 1. New Translator also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Convert sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. New Translator asks for nothing beyond the download.
