# Tangram Master Deluxe vs HexaNest

The clearest difference is rating: HexaNest at 5.0 against Tangram Master Deluxe's 4.5. HexaNest also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Tangram Master Deluxe's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tangram Master Deluxe sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and HexaNest sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HexaNest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tangram Master Deluxe has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tangram Master Deluxe ships an update every 12 months, HexaNest every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
