# LGND vs HornBlasters

The clearest difference is monetization model: HornBlasters at free against LGND's free with in-app purchases. LGND's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 16). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LGND holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LGND has 12K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of LGND's written reviews are positive against 88% of HornBlasters's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
