# LGND vs Monarck

The clearest difference is update cadence: LGND at every 3 weeks against Monarck's every 7 months. LGND also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 5). Monarck's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for LGND against 5.0 for Monarck. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LGND has 12K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of LGND's written reviews are positive against 100% of Monarck's.

LGND ships an update every 3 weeks, Monarck every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
