# Squabbit vs Roost Golf

The clearest difference is update cadence: Squabbit at every 6 days against Roost Golf's every 2 months. Squabbit also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (5.5K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Squabbit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year and Roost Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Squabbit against 5.0 for Roost Golf. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Squabbit has 5.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Squabbit ships an update every 6 days, Roost Golf every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
