# Squabbit vs Next18Now

The clearest difference is monetization model: Squabbit at free against Next18Now's free with in-app purchases. Squabbit also leads on ratings volume (5.5K vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Squabbit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year and Next18Now sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Squabbit against 5.0 for Next18Now. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Squabbit has 5.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 98% of Squabbit's written reviews are positive against 100% of Next18Now's.

Squabbit ships an update every 6 days, Next18Now weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
