# Squabbit vs Orvil

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Orvil at none against Squabbit's 10. Squabbit's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 5) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Squabbit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year. Orvil asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Squabbit against 5.0 for Orvil. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Squabbit has 5.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 98% of Squabbit's written reviews are positive against 100% of Orvil's.

Squabbit ships an update every 6 days, Orvil every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
