# Float Prompter vs TeleprompterMax

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TeleprompterMax at 67% against Float Prompter's 29%. TeleprompterMax also leads on ads (none vs shown). Float Prompter's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Float Prompter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month and TeleprompterMax sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Float Prompter holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Float Prompter's written reviews are positive against 67% of TeleprompterMax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Float Prompter ships an update weekly, TeleprompterMax every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
