# Coloring Magic vs Paintist Plus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coloring Magic at 74% against Paintist Plus's 17%. Coloring Magic also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Paintist Plus's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coloring Magic sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Paintist Plus sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Paintist Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 629 and 693 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Coloring Magic's written reviews are positive against 17% of Paintist Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
