# Plumb's | Standards vs Talkatoo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Talkatoo at 100% against Plumb's | Standards's 57%. Talkatoo also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). Plumb's | Standards's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 37) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Plumb's | Standards holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plumb's | Standards has 3.3K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Plumb's | Standards's written reviews are positive against 100% of Talkatoo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
