# Xlung App vs PedSOS

The clearest difference is update cadence: PedSOS at every 2 weeks against Xlung App's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xlung App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.49 per month and PedSOS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Xlung App ships an update every 2 months, PedSOS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
